 Guys, this site is soooo friggin slow its painful.. so much so that I almost dread coming on here cos its such a pain in the arse..
Can something be done about it???

 Its been slow but it hasnt been THAT slow for me. It really doesnt seem nany slower than any other site Ive been on lately. I wonder what the deal is.

 well, an easy solution to this would be, WIPE all the news posts and all the forum posts and all the comments. That would change the speed big time. The site has alot of lag due to the size of the database on wtn. I been trying to think of a good way to archive the news.

 After being here for what 7 or 8 years,I have noticed some slow down but as Libra said not that much,I try cleaning my own box every 3 or 4 months,and try to keep in mind that the WTN database has got to be full of Info after all these years!!

 ITs been fine for me. Not sure why iam not having any problems. From time to time it is. But not that i have noticed. Hey Ace I will assk a few peps on the job if they have any suggestions. Will get back to ya if I get any good ideas.

 I clean my PC every 3 or 4 days don't have any speed hang ups with WTN.Ace has the right Idea.There are alot of things on this site that are not used as mush as they once were. Time to Clean House
